MAHA 2012

MAHA 2012 is an international event for Agriculutural. It is held in MAEPS, Serdang, next to MARDI. It consists of a few laman such as Laman Sayur, Laman Ikan, Laman Nenas, Laman ternakan, laman Padi, AgroBazaar where all the IKS are and Medan Selera Local fav.

You need to know where you want to go and which trem to take. I was quite sympatize to the elderly and family with kids as there don't know the exact destination there are heading.

Some useful tips:
1) If you want to shopped just go to AgroBazaar. Take trem B. You can buy all sorts of things. Personally I bought Jem from Cameron Higlands, milk for Irfan, frozen karipap, roti Arab, pes lauk-pauk (mak pemalass), keropok, nuggets

Lists that I'm going to buy later:
- chilly sauce, tomato sauce, oyster source, kicap, sos cicah (in a pax Rm10)
- roti arab
- susu Ilham for Irfan (it consist of powdered cow's milk added with badam, kismis and ayat Quran). Irfan loves the milk so it is a sign I have to buy some more.

2) If you want to bring your children to have fun just go to fun fair park by taking trem B or trem C. Stop at the T-junction just after Rumah-rumah negeri.

There you can take your child for horse riding RM5 per person, hand boat ride, fun fair park and rabbit park.

Frankly speaking, even though in Laman Ikan there are boat ride too but here there are alot more choices.

3) If you want to buy cheap fruits and vege even anak-anak pokok just go to FAMA booth in the main dataran pavillion itself where all the trem parked. The first thing you see is the FAMA booth. Usually people just walk here but if you want to climb the trem you take trem B.

4) If you want to take your kids to see cows, goats and sang kancil you can go to Laman Ternakan. How to go there if you are from Dataran Pavillion, you take trem B then change trem C in Rumah-rumah Negeri then change again take trem D. Basicly to go to laman ternakan take trem D. Remember that. It is a bit tricky.

5) Ask for direction from the people wearing green shirts. They will guide you.

6) Laman ikan only best if like to pancing udang galah RM10 per hour and see the biggest tulang whale. And buy keropok lekor or pekasam. Other than that don't waste your energy and time here. More over there is no trem in laman ikan. Either you go to Laman Padi or walk to laman Sayur for trem.

7) Laman sayur, laman nenas if you want to buy cheap sweet nenas, laman padi usually for trem transit have nothing much to offer. For halls blue big building on the bukit have nothing much to offer too.

8) If you want to eat, go to local fav. There are all sorts of stalls offered with all sorts of fav dishes in Malaysia.

9) Rumah Negeri is quite fun if you have particular things to buy in certain state. I bought pes opor, it is a Pahang local lauk. Again mak pemalas to cook and it is something different lauk from others.

i hope this blog help you if you want to visit MAHA 2012. Pls know your destination and objective. Because it will be very hot in the morning and it rains in the evening. So I hope everyone enjoy there visits. Please bring you UMBRELLA. it is very important even though it is not raining. Because it will be very hot. Don't waste your money on buying umbrella.

My New Kitchen Cabinet

My new kitchen cabinet. I choose white 3G glass for the upper cabinet and melamine for the lower cabinet because I want to install lock to the doors of the lower cabinet. This to prevent from my son to open it and break anything inside the cabinet. I did a pull out table. It cost around RM6K. It is a high an spec, pls refer to my previous blog how to recognise high end spec, http://ayeenspace.blogspot.com/2012/09/kitchen-cabinet-lesson-101.html

Before the installation. What a mess.
Before the installation
The table top is concrete and the tiles is black galaxy.
Anti cockroach wood. It is proven on top of the wood itself.

New wardrobe

At last my master bedroom has a wardrobe. We got it cheap around RM399 in one of thr furniture shop in Klang. The best thing is it is 8'inch width. I think it is worth the money. We add a mirror to the wardrobe.

laminate flooring

tadaaaa....on Sunday, the shop came to install floor in my masterbedroom. Previously, the room have only tiles and apart from it is still cement floor. I had to give in to my hubby choice because the grill pattern was my choice and he hates one of the leaves on the grill. To make him stop saying about the grill, I had to give in with the floor choice. I prefer 4 patterns on a plank. While he prefers one pattern on one plank. He told me it will make the room look bigger.

Anyway, when it finished, it was superb. I loved my room. Now you will feel you want to stay in it. Even my son loves it. He will stomped his feet on it and bring his fire brigade toy in the room.

My room size is 10' x 14'. We bought it from home deco expo. It cost around RM1,200.

Let's browse my beautiful floor. I loved it. The room looks more spacious. *tip: always put the lines at the longer side and it will make your room looks bigger.

Curtains in Nilai3

Finally, we bought our curtains in Nilai3. We went around most of the shops in Nilai3. We were very exhausted, tired and it was very hot day. We bought the curtain from the first shop we went. If I knew, I would simply by when we first step into that shop. It is RM30/meter. All the cheap curtains cannot compare when I already fall in love with this curtain. What makes it expensive because it is 100% blackout. the sun cannot penetrate through the curtains. At the back of the curtain, still have pattern eventhough the material is blackout. It is shining, most of all the I liked about it. It is thick and quality. Plus it is the latest design.
They can sew it around 1 hour. We finally went back around 8 p.m.

Sample from one of the exclusive shop. Very very nice and expensive.
Another example from the exclusive shop.
Simple and nice.
Simple but nice.
this is my option curtain. Reasonable price. I have to option, one red colour flower another is purple. I took the purple because the colour is more interesting.

Other sample pattern with same materials.
tadaaaa...my curtains. Feel like a resort.
Very beautiful. Feels like in a hotel.
My room. Simple.
Roman blind for the kitchen. It cost around RM250.
